7th Sea RPG Tournament (d10) - Round 1A
Scars of El Morro
Gamemaster: Bob Johnston
Time: Friday 20:00
Length: 6 Hours
Location: 116

You awake in a dark room to groaning and the smell of blood. There's somebody on the floor beside you that half consciously groan with each breath they take. You try to move only to be overcome with dizziness. Where are you? What have you done now? Were you drunk? No! Ouch, don't think so sharply.

After a short while you quietly and slowly consider the possibility that you may have been drugged. Who? Carefully you search your sluggish mind for your last memories - they elude you! What do you remember? A priest, but more...the Don taken...and getting...getting into a pitched battle! OUCH, T H I N K S L O W E R. Which one happened first...maybe you did not win or succeed? Too much thinking is making you dizzy again.

Again after a brief rest you decide to check for wounds and realize that your wrists and feet are bound. You do manage to ascertain that you are slightly injured. Before you can further assess your injuries or try to even consider your next action you hear a noise, the click and slide of a bolt, as a door to the room you are in is being opened. Instinctively you crane your neck around to size up the person entering only to simultaneously be blinded and overcome with dizziness. Squinting your eyes in spite of it all, you can only just make out a robed and hooded figure in the doorway. You start seeing stars just as you recognize...

So starts your tale of discovery in PolyCon's Second Bi-Annual 7th Sea RPG Tournament "The Scar of El Morro". This event will be open to only 12 players of Novice or higher skill level. Role-play ability will outweigh specific understanding of game rules. So be prepared for swashbuckling and high, fast action.

This tournament is composed of 2 initial games and one final game. The first initial game of 6 players will start early Friday evening. The second initial game (same plot as the first) of a different set of 6 players will start Saturday morning. The top 3 available players, as chosen by the players and GM from each initial game, will then participate in the final game Saturday evening. Prizes will be awarded to all participants after each game. The final highest ranked individuals will be announced and record at Monday's auction.

All Flesh Must Be Eaten Round 1A
Gamemaster: Dan Barr
Time: Friday 19:00
Length: 4 Hours
Location: 115

Guttenberg's moveable type press not only created a new way to print books, but also inspired a new age of learning and exploration. Europeans travelled across the Earth in search of riches and fame. Prince Faulk of Munich sent out his own expedition, deep into Africa, to bring him back all the wealth and oddities they could carry. Their timing couldn't be more perfect, as they arrived right as his birthday was approaching. However, they return also coincided with a string of ghastly murders that has the populous scared to go to bed at night. The prince is more concerned with his party plans then he is in preventing the murders and so the horrors continue unchecked. The time has come to decide, do you sit and wait to die, or do you survive, either by your wits or by your brawn. And what, exactly, is the correlation betweens the murders and the prince.

Yeah, yeah. I know I should be able to handle this myself. Hell, it's only a small outbreak of Texas Tummy Twisters, nothin' some well placed TNT can't take care of, but I got a funny feelin' about this one. I remember passin' through Los Noches a few years ago and somethin' about that town didn't seem quite right. Way to many gamblers 'round there for my taste, and not the kind that play for penny-ante stakes. The kind that play with the devil for thier very souls. If those spell-slingers have anything to do with this, I'm gonna be in for a world of hurt. Looks like it's time to send in The Marching Band.
