Dungeons & Dragons Tournament Round 1A
Pick up the Pieces
Gamemaster: Robert Chesebrough, Eric Moore
Time: Friday 14:00
Length: 4 Hours
Location: Room 241

Avatar of adventure, the Legendary Dragon Polyzanthius, was slain six months ago by a rouge band of overzealous adventurers. Seizing every scrap of loot the adventurers even took the corpse, divided the remains of the mighty beast, and sold it piecemeal down to the very bones of the creature.

Since that time the spirit of adventure has waned in all races; no longer do parties gather at inns before forays into the wilderness. No longer are there those who would take the menial quest offered by the local townships to curb the goblin population. Mages and Clerics alike have taken to locking themselves away to study and pray rather than bring their awesome powers to bear on those who would stand between them and whatever cause was popular that week. Some groups have profited from this lull of do-gooders, necromancers in particular now only deal with a paltry few ancestors who mostly only complain and write strong worded letters. The assassins guilds have cleaned up claiming a back log of contracts dating from some of their founding's.

Seeing the real threat this has placed the world in, many sages and high priests have gathered any they could find that still had the spark of adventure burning within their souls and tasked them with the recovery of the divided remains of Polyzanthius so that they may hopefully raise him back into this world and set things right once more.

Lawful Good through Chaotic Good Characters. Survivors move on to Round 2A.

Dungeons & Dragons Tournament Round 1D
Pick up the Pieces
Gamemaster: Robert Chesebrough, Eric Moore
Time: Saturday 09:00

Chaotic Neutral through Neutral Evil. Survivors move on to Round 2B.
