Dragon Wars

This year’s Dungeons and Dragons tournament will revolve around one of the central concepts of the game… Dragons! Yes, this year twenty four valiant adventurers will face off with Dragons of all size and shape. They say that adventurers are just like French fries—crunchy and good with ketchup, let us hope that this is not true.

Introduction

In the five years since the return of magic and the gods to the realm of Sunder things have been both good and bad. The land has a good king and many people have prospered under his reign, however there has also been upheaval and change. Now in the midst of this time of change, an ancient evil have gathered the powers of Dragons and set them upon the land of Sunder and soon perhaps the entire world of Ember! In the north, knights and warriors fight against armies of dragons. In the south agents of Tiamat, the Queen of Dragons, plot to control various points of power that could be used against her. Agents of the King and Princess Lorillen of the Elves have been working to gather ancient powers to help fight the Dragon Queen. Soon it will be time for heroes from around the land to strike and deal the final blow against the deadly Dragon Queen or die in a storm of Dragon breath!

Player’s Information

Halflings now run wild, returned to their normal existence by the heroes of the previous tournament. Their homeland has been claimed as the slave pits and prison for the criminals of the land. Humans of the hills choke out other humanoids sending them into the mountains to seek land of their own. The King must find a bride or he may lose his throne. In the Great Forest, a mysterious Thunder Bird has been seen, hailing the coming of dark times. In the southern waste, The Mages Tower has made a startling discovery! Communications around the land are cut off by flocks of Wyverns hunting the skies. The once capital city of the land, Talok has been reduced to a struggling Homlet. The land is vulnerable to attack and the only thing staving off a horde of Dragons is a group of Valiant warriors holding the front far to the north. Soon it will be time for all the civilized peoples to gather together to defend their lands against the ultimate threat.
